Over the years of building race cars at RAD Industries, I came up with this simple solution to assist in the custom fabrication of mounting parts on the car in a clean and professional way. This cup+bung pair is conveniently sold as a set of 6. These pairs are used for fabricating a mount or bracket (solid/removable) for parts such as radiators, intercoolers, reservoirs, etc. They work perfectly for welding small tubing as well as solid bar. The aluminum bung is machined from high quality American aluminum bar which makes it that much better when welding.
The steel cup and aluminum bung are also available individually or as a single pair.
